SCIENCE LAB RENOVATION
at FARMERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL

The existing sloped ceiling, ending inches above the windows, introduced a renovation challenge in the new science labs at Farmerville High School. By adding a black ceiling tile border and a new suspended perimeter trimmed ceiling, an illusion of a clean floating ceiling free from awkward intersections was created in each lab. Orange accents - Farmerville High's school color - define the volume of the space and the structure, while the subtle gray walls and floors play up the modern juxtaposition of the new high tech labs.
